Course Registration / 履修登録
教養教育の語学科目には「英語」と「その他の言語」の2つの科目区分があります。それぞれの科目区分から科目を選択し、必要単位数分を履修します。科目区分ごとの 修得必要単位数は以下の通りです。
Registration Requirements for English Courses / 「英語」科目の登録条件
「英語」科目の履修登録(抽選)は学期ごとに行います。
各学期に登録できる英語科目の単位の上限は4単位です。（前期に英語の単位が0もしくは、1単位しか取れなかった場合は、後期には修得必要単位数（6単位）に必要な単位数までの履修を認めます。国際文化学科の学生は、1年前期、1年後期、2年前期の3学期とも、上限は4単位とし、2年後期以降には、修得必要単位数（12単位）に必要な単位数までの履修を認めます。抽選に外れ、4単位分の履修ができなかった学生は、教務企画室窓口で履修登録が可能です。詳細は「教養教育履修要項」で確認して下さい。

授業は16週（2単位）です。（※８週のISの科目は1単位です。）
Registration Requirements for Other Language Courses /「その他の言語」科目の科目登録条件
「その他の言語」の修得必要単位として算入できる科目は、入学手続き時に提出した『その他の言語選択届』に基づき、履修調整を行います(1年前期2単位、1年後期2単位、計4単位)。調整結果は4月の履修登録時に確認できます。
「〇〇語初級会話1、2」（「その他の言語」の修得必要単位としては算入できない科目）については、各学期の履修登録期間に履修登録を行います。
「その他の言語」として10言語の科目を開講しますので、その中から好きな科目を履修してください。

There are two categories of Liberal Arts language courses: English and Other Languages. Students select courses from each category and take the required number of credits. The number of credits required for each subject area is as follows.

Course Registration / 履修登録
There are two categories of Liberal Arts language courses: English and Other Languages. Students select courses from each category and take the required number of credits.
The number of required credits for each category is as follows.
Registration Requirements for English Courses
Registration (by lottery) for the "English" course is conducted every semester.
The maximum number of credits for English courses that students can register for each semester is 4 credits. (If a student earns zero or only one English credit in the first semester, he/she is allowed to take up to the required number of credits (6 credits) in the second semester. Students in the Department of Intercultural Studies are allowed to take up to 4 credits in the first semester of the first year, the second semester of the first year, and the first semester of the second year, and in the second semester of the second year and thereafter, they are allowed to take up to the required number of credits to meet the number of credits (12 credits).
Students who were not selected in the lottery and could not take 4 credits can register at the Educational Affairs Planning Office. For details, please refer to the "Liberal Arts Course Guidelines.

Registration Requirements for Other Language Courses
Courses that can be counted as credits for "Other Languages" will be determined based on the "Other Language Selection Form" submitted at the time of enrollment (2 credits for the first semester of the first year and 2 credits for the second semester of the first year, for a total of 4 credits). The results can be confirmed at the time of registration in April.
The courses 「〇〇語初級会話1、2」, which do not count as credits for 「その他の言語」 can be registered during the registration period of each semester.
