This course will give students the opportunity to learn more about culture from other countries. Students can take an active role in the topics chosen - creating the chance to generate meaningful course content. Similarly, students can learn more, discuss and understand opinions on topics that their classmates find relevant.

Each week in class there is a presentation of a Popular Culture topic. The presentation may include, for example, watching a short video, photos or reading. Activities after the presentation will include worksheets with vocabulary, listening and discussion questions. This course requires students to actively participate in both the preparation and discussion of topics. In weeks 7 - 14 the topics presented are chosen by you - the students - giving you the chance to learn more about your interests.
